THE TARTAN CROWD
JOIN THE MOST EXCITING RACEHORSE OWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY IN SCOTLAND.
Scottish horse racing has a proud and deep history, and Crowd Racing is aiming to sculpt our own little place in that illustrious story with the launch of the TARTAN CROWD.
We are offering the opportunity for you to share in this dream, with a range of affordable options to join the Tartan Crowd. A combination of social and racing events wrapped around two quality racehorses the Tartan Crowd promises to be unique in the Scottish racing world.
Working with expert trainer Lucy Normile, and utilising the skills and experience Crowd Racing have developed in recent years, The Tartan Crowd will be an exciting and engrossing experience for novice racehorse fans as well as hardened veterans. Our smaller crowds have seen many friendships grow from the common interest of a racehorse and we fully expect that the magnified with the larger numbers involved here.
This is a genuine and rare chance to be involved with racehorses who will be heading towards the prestigious Scottish Grand National and the valuable Queen's Cup at Musselburgh. There are never any guarantees when it comes to horse racing, but we will be buying the right horses and have the right team working with them to help us achieve our aims.
TWO QUALITY RACEHORSES, AMBITIOUS PLANS!
Finding the right racehorses will be absolutely critical to the success of the Tartan Crowd, and by bringing together a Crowd of this size will enable us to have a budget large enough to purchase the absolute type of racehorse needed to realistically target the Scottish Grand National at Ayr, and the Musselburgh Queen's Cup, a £60,000 handicap.
The winner of the Scottish Grand National last year cost only £10,000 and the runner-up was a £50,000 purchase. It is a tough race to win, but definitely a great race to aim for and we are very confident that we can find the right racehorse for the race.
All that was needed to purchase a horse capable of winning last years Queen's Cup was £22,000, with the runner-up coming in at a slightly higher £40,000.
The beauty of purchasing horses to be aimed at these races, is that there are a lot of opportunities for them in other prestigious races while on the journey.
Top class race courses including Royal Ascot, Aintree, Cheltenham and York all host races that would be perfect for the Tartan Crowd horses.
