Crowd Racing Are Delighted to Offer this Beautiful 2yr filly by Dunaden.
Do you like racing and travel? Enjoy experiencing something new? Or just love weekends away somewhere different? Investing in this lovely filly could take you to the edges of Europe for an exciting day at the races and a relaxing weekend away.
This as yet un-named 2yo filly by Dunaden is currently in training in Austria, with the intention of running in locations such as Budapest, Bratislava, Munich and Prague. This is an amazing opportunity for you to spread your racing wings and enjoy the Sport of Kings in Eastern and Central Europe.
What makes her so appealing?
The filly is from the first crop of Melbourne Cup and Hong Kong Vase winning sire, Dunaden. This outstanding horse was trained in France, traveling around the world to compete forty-six times in seven different countries. He won the 2011 Group 1 Melbourne Cup, beating Red Cadeaux by a nose, as well as the 2010 winner, Americain, back in fourth. One month later, he went on to win the Group 1 Hong Kong Vase at Sha Tin, with Red Cadeaux again behind him in third. In 2012 he returned to Australia, this time winning the Group 1 Caulfield Cup. His progeny are yet to hit the racetrack, but it is likely they will be strong staying types.
The dam is by Sea the Stars, which means the filly has a 4x4 cross to the brilliant Ahonoora. The dam's family includes the Group 1 Irish St Leger winner, Alandi, and English Champion 3yo filly, Aliysa.
The aim for the filly is to start racing in the relatively lower class jurisdictions of Slovakia (Bratislava) and Hungary (Budapest), later this year, assuming she tells us she's ready to race. If she shows some class, she'll be moved up to competing in Germany and Italy, where the goal will be securing black type. After that, the sky is the limit for a nice staying type. We expect her to keep improving as a 3yo and she could be a real contender for Guineas and Oaks glory.
The filly is offered on a lease basis by Star Kingdom Racing, from July 1st 2018 until the end of 2019. Star Kingdom Racing has already enjoyed success in central Europe, winning the 2016 Magyar Kancadij (Hungarian Oaks) and in the same year taking out the top 2yo race in Budapest, the Listed 7 furlong Szent Laszlo Dij. Costs include everything needed to look after the filly until December 2019 and syndicate members receive a share of all prize money.
What's in a Name?
Included as part of the package is the chance for syndicate members to name the filly. Suggestions will be sought from all investing members and a vote taken to find the winning entry. This is a wonderful chance to show off your creativity and make this filly one to really remember.
The filly is in training with Ziva Prunk and her team in Austria.
Ziva is a successful young trainer from Slovenia. Her biggest successes include the previously mentioned Hungarian Oaks, the European Jockey Cup Million sprint in 2016 with Pretorian in Prague and a close second with the same horse in the Group 3 Premio Tudini in Rome earlier this year. She is a qualified equine nutritionist, which means the horses always receive the best diet to make the most of their racing abilities.
Ziva's team is a real multi-cultural combination, reflecting the global nature of horse racing. As mentioned, she is from Slovenia, her head lad is Serbian, her apprentice jockey from Japan and Phill Clarke from Star Kingdom Racing is Australian (don't hold it against him).
Ziva trains only a small number of horses and the intimate nature of her stable means owners are always welcomed on stable tours and behind the scenes on race days.
What about those weekends away?
Some of the packages below also include flights and accommodation to a central European city on a race weekend to see your filly fly past the winning post. It could be your dream weekend in Vienna, Budapest or Prague.
This is something new for Crowd Racing as we venture outside the UK and offers syndicate members a chance to not only be involved with a promising young filly, but also explore some of Europe's best city break destinations.
